ftp_nb_continue
If you want to monitor the progress of the download, you may use the filesize()-Function.
But note: The results of said function are cached, so you'll always get 0 bytes. Call clearstatcache() before calling filesize() to determine the actual size of the downloaded file.
This may have performance implications, but if you want to provide the information, there's no way around it.

La funzione ftp_nb_fget() recupera remote_file
dal server FTP, e lo scrive nella posizione cui punta il puntatore a file
handle. La modalita' di trasferimento, mode,
specificata deve essere FTP_ASCII oppure
FTP_BINARY. La differenza tra questa funzione e la funzione
ftp_fget() e' che questa funzione recupera il file
in modo asincrono, cosicche' il programma puo' eseguire altre operazioni
mentre il file viene scaricato.
