This function is as simple as it sounds, it returns the name of the database your are currently connected to on the handle retrieved from a pg_connect() call.

pg_dbname() zwraca nazwę bazy danych dla
podanego identyfikatora połączenia
(polaczenie).

Identyfikator połączenia do bazy PostgreSQL. Gdy nie podano parametru
polaczenie, domyślne połączenie jest użyte. Domyślnym połączeniem jest ostatnie połączenie stworzone przez pg_connect() lub pg_pconnect().
Zwracane wartości
Łańcuch (ang. string) zawierający nazwę bazy danych, do której
polaczenie jest nawiązane, lub FALSE w przypadku błędu.
