Forord

PHP, som står for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor" er et udbredt Open Source scriptsprog til generelle formål, men er specielt tilpasset til web udvikling og kan integreres med HTML. Syntaksen ligner C, Java og Perl, og er nem at lære. Hovedmålet med sproget er at lade web udviklere skrive dynamisk genereret hjemmesider hurtigt, men du kan også gøre meget mere med PHP.

Denne manual består primært af en funktions reference, men indeholder også en sprog reference, forklaringer af nogle af PHP's primære features, og andre supplerende oplysninger.
